1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between page loads — that you are signed in, which language you chose, whether you have dismissed a banner.
This Policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and pixels, which serve comparable purposes.

The cookies above are the ones WhatFlare itself sets, and all of them are strictly necessary or functional. We set no analytics or marketing cookies unless you accept them through the cookie banner. Where you do accept, the third-party cookies described in section 4 are set by those providers under their own names and retention periods, which you can inspect at any time in your browser's developer tools under Application → Cookies.
4.Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose tools we embed. We do not control these, and their own privacy policies apply. Depending on the features enabled, these may include:
- Analytics providers — aggregated product and website usage
- Advertising platforms — campaign measurement, only with marketing consent
- Payment gateways — fraud prevention during checkout
- Support and chat widgets — maintaining a conversation across pages
- Font and CDN providers — delivering assets; these may log your IP address as part of serving the request
5.Managing your choices
- Use the cookie banner shown on your first visit to accept or reject non-essential categories.
- Change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in our website footer.
- Withdrawing consent stops future use. It does not undo processing that already happened lawfully.
Rejecting analytics and marketing cookies does not reduce your access to the Services. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in.
6.Browser controls
You can also manage cookies in your browser, including deleting existing ones and blocking new ones:

- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data

Blocking all cookies will prevent you from signing in to the WhatFlare application.
7.Do Not Track
There is no common industry standard for how to respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, so we do not currently respond to them. We honour the choices you make through our cookie banner, and we will update this section if a recognised standard emerges.
8.Changes to this Policy
We update this Policy when our cookie use changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes that require fresh consent will re-prompt you through the banner.
